To meet the diverse sound reinforcement demands of the venue—ranging from the powerful rhythms of electronic music to the delicate nuances of jazz—the project team ultimately selected a professional Clair Brothers audio system. Through precise acoustic design and strategic equipment pairing, they have created a high-quality listening environment that masterfully balances sheer impact with crystal-clear audio fidelity.

Main PA System: i212 Line Array Creates a Full-Coverage Sound Field

As the core of the entire audio system, the main PA features the CLAIR BROTHERS i212, a dual 12-inch three-way line array loudspeaker. Within the 800-square-meter space, and leveraging the patented TrueFit waveguide technology, it ensures uniform high-frequency coverage throughout the venue. Whether in the center of the dance floor or in the corner booths, guests experience consistent sound pressure levels (SPL) and crystal-clear audio quality.

Furthermore, its three-way design guarantees rich mid-to-low frequencies and authentic vocal reproduction. Even when blasting electronic dance music at high volumes, the system maintains impeccable sonic layering without any distortion.

Auxiliary & Fill Systems: Excellence in Every Detail

To solve the sound field transition between the stage perimeter and the front area, FF2-hx externally bi-amplified two-way speakers were deployed at the stage lip. Compact yet powerful, these speakers serve as front-fill, ensuring that the audience right up against the stage enjoys the same consistent listening experience as those in the back rows.

For the second-floor booths and areas obstructed by columns, KIT15 and 1AM speakers were utilized as auxiliary sound. The KIT15 leverages its wide dispersion characteristics to cover these secondary zones, while the 1AM acts as localized fill, providing precise targeting for specific seats to eliminate any "sonic dead spots." This well-structured, progressive layout results in a far more balanced and natural sound field distribution throughout the entire space.

Subwoofer System: The CS Series Lays a Powerful Foundation

The project features the classic CLAIR BROTHERS CS218 dual 18-inch and CS18II single 18-inch subwoofers. These provide deep, impactful fundamental bass that extends down to 35Hz, perfectly reproducing the basslines and kick drums in electronic music. Controlled via CB/PLM digital amplifiers, the system guarantees sheer low-end power while avoiding the muddiness caused by excessive bass. The result is a rhythm that delivers a visceral "chest-thumping" impact without sacrificing clarity.

The entire system was meticulously tuned using CLAIR BROTHERS' dedicated digital processors, with multiple parameter presets tailored for different scenarios. For instance, in DJ mode, the mid-bass gain is boosted to intensify the rhythm; for live band performances, the vocal frequency range is optimized.
