| The Clair Brothers R2T is an arrayable twoway bi-amped speaker system designed for a variety of applications requiring high performance and intelligibility from a small speaker package. The R2T is built both for easy portability or fixed installations. Applications include: theaters, houses of worship, auditoriums, industrial PA, speech and music reinforcement. The R2T’s 12” cone transducer offers extremely efficient low-end coupling when arrayed, providing solid lows to 50 Hz. The high-end section features a 2” compression driver coupled with a 90º H x 40º V (or 60º H x 40º V) rotatable horn, offering superb dispersion for both nearfield and medium throw applications. |
The trapezoidal design allows cabinets to be arrayed in clusters which minimizes loudspeaker pattern overlap and phase cancellation for coherent sound distribution. As with all Clair Brothers products, the R2T is constructed of the finest Baltic birch plywood and finished with a rugged exterior epoxy to withstand the most demanding conditions. The speaker grille is constructed of durable 14 gauge perforated steel with a powder coated finish and a reticulated foam back. |
