The Clair Brothers 12Sx is a newly designed
installation subwoofer enclosure. The 12Sx
provides surprisingly high output given
its compact size. It is ideal for a variety of
fixed installations where space-saving is a
prime consideration; the 12Sx features a
recessed rear input connector panel that
allows the cabinet to be placed directly
against a wall. The cabinet includes fourteen
(14) M10 mounting points and a single M20
threaded pole mount plate on the top panel.
Its compact size makes it a perfect
companion for a variety of Clair Brothers full
range installation loudspeakers such as 5CX,
5CB, 8CX, R2 and FF2 series.

The 12Sx is designed with a single high
output transducer that delivers a usable inroom frequency response down to 33 Hz.
The kevlar reinforced 12” cone provides
exceptional linear excursion. The result is
a high power handling, high performance subwoofer that provides tightly controlled
low-frequency extension.
As with all Clair Brothers products, the 12Sx is
constructed of the finest Baltic birch plywood
with a rugged epoxy finish to withstand the
most demanding conditions.
The speaker grille is constructed of a durable
14 gauge steel which is powder coated and
backed with acoustically transparent, waterresistant fabric.
