The Clair Brothers RSS is a two-way active,
full range, high output loudspeaker designed
primarily as a stair speaker but can be used
for a variety of permanent installations. The
compact, ported cabinet delivers exceptional
intelligibility for speech and music program
material. The RSS is ideal for near-field
and area fill uses in stair risers. Other uses
include delays, columns, stage aprons and
balconies.
The RSS has exceptional performance in a
low profile cabinet measuring a mere 5.5”
x 27” x 17.5” in the installation back box.
The speaker is ideal for a variety of venues
including theaters, houses of worship, cruise
ships and auditoriums.
As with all Clair Brothers products, the
RSS is constructed of the finest Baltic birch
plywood and finished with a rugged exterior
epoxy.
The RSS-BB back box (which is required for
in-stair mounting) is made of 14 gauge steel
and has electrical knock-outs for hard-piped
installations. The back box is sold separately
so pre-installation can occur well ahead of
final installation. Utilize the RSS-MB (Yoke/
Mounting Bracket) for a variety of mounting
configurations without the back box.
